- Word from the Rector Возлюбленные о Господе братья и сестры, поздравляю Вас со светозарным, радостным и великим праздником Воскресения Христова! Воскресение Христово утверждает наши надежды, нашу веру и любовь, хранит нашу жизнь, восстанавливает образ и подобие Божье в человеке принесшим свое покаяние. “Сей день сотвори Господь возрадуемся и возвеселимся в он" Этими словами Святая. Церковь радостно приветствует всех истинно-верующих христиан. Этой радостью живет два тысячелетия Церковь Христова и ее чада, ею вдохновлялись святые угодники Божии. Преподобный Серафим Саровский встречал каждого приходящего к нему словами пасхального приветствия: “Радость моя! Христос Воскресе! Дай Бог, чтобы в эти светлые пасхальные дни мы все восприняли сугубую благодатную пасхальную радость, которая хранилась бы в наших сердцах и чтобы мы смогли делиться этой радостью со всеми окружающими людьми в евхаристическом общении, помогая им прозреть, увидеть и воспринять благодатный свет Воскресения Христова. Да объединит всех нас в любви и мире Воскресший Христос Спаситель. Христос Воскресе! Воистину Воскресе! В этом пасхальном номере, в вновь выпускаемом листке, читателю предлагается три статьи относящиеся к современным темам. В братской нам стране снова поднялась вооружённая антихристианская рука Мусульманская, подкрепленная силами отказавшихся от своих христианских корней запада, на наших единоверцев Сербов. Мы в нашем храме продолжаем возносить наши молитвы за этот многострадальный народ. На страницах сего листка Вы можете прочитать пасхальное послание Его Святейшества Патриарха Павла с 2003 года. Во связи с начавшимся диалогом о возможном сближении двух частей Русской Православной Церкви и с наступающей ознакомительной поездкой нашего первоиерарха Его Высокопреосвященства Митрополита Лавра в Россию, предлагаем Вам беседу, проведенную иноком Всеволодом с Владыкой Лавром, на эту тему.
Все мы
озабочены молниеносным упадком западной культуры и стремительным
растерзанием моральной ткани в нашей стране и, вообще, в западном мире за
последнее время. Последнее покушение на человеческое достоинство и его
высокое предназначение, это борьба за однополые браки. Этот вопрос
обсуждался на пастырском совещании в марте этого года и послание совещания
на эту тему помещено на страницах нынешнего листка.
Beloved in the Lord brothers and sisters, I greet you with the bright, joyous and great holy day of the Resurrection of Christ! The Resurrection of Christ affirms our hope, our faith and love, preserves our life, and restores the image and likeness in the man who brought forth his repentance. This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it. With these words the Holy Church joyfully greets all truly faithful Christians. With this joy lives the two thousand year old Church of Christ along with her children and by it were inspired the holy pleasers of God. Saint Seraphim of Sarov would greet all who came to him with the paschal greeting: “My joy! Christ is Risen!” May God grant that during these bright paschal days we all receive deep, grace-filled paschal joy, which would be preserved in our hearts and that we could share this joy with all those around us in Eucharistic communion, helping them foresee, see, feel the grace-filled light of the Resurrection of Christ May the Resurrected Christ Savior unite all of us in love and peace Christ is Risen! Truly He is Risen! In this Easter issue of the once again published newsletter are offered three article which are related to current events. In our brother nation again arises the armed antichristian hand of Islam, strengthened by the powers, which have rejected their Christian roots, of the West, against our fellow-believers the Serbs. In our church we continue to offer our prayers for this much suffering people. On the pages of this newsletter you can read the Paschal Epistle of His Holiness the Patriarch Pavle from 2003. With regard to the initiated dialog concerning the possible rapprochement of the two parts of the Russian Orthodox Church and to the upcoming acquaintance making trip of our First-Hierarch His Eminence Metropolitan Laurus to Russia, we offer to you an interview that was conducted by monk Vsevelod with Metropolitan Laurus on this subject. We are all concerned with the lightning fast decline of western culture and the intensely determined rendering of the moral fabric in our nation and in the western world in general lately. The latest attack on man’s worth and his high calling is the battle for same-gender marriages. This question was discussed at the Pastoral Conference in March of this year and epistle of the conference is placed on the pages of this newsletter. |
