Дорогия братья и сестры - Христос
Воскресе!
Течение
нашей жизни ведет нас по разным кругам – более явный из них годичный,
провожающий нашу земную жизнь бесконечно повторяющимися временами года. В
Божьем творении ничего не случайно и это колесо природы служит для верующего
напоминанием его первобытного состояния, по благодати Божьей, бессмертное.
Церковь тоже использует этот сильный символ вечности, круга, и не только раз,
но многократно. Наш церковный год весь освящен воспоминанием земной жизни
нашего Спасителя Иисуса Христа через Двунадесятые и другие праздники
отмечаемые Церковью ежегодно, каждый праздник сопровождаемы своим особыми
чтениями Библейскими и Священным Писанием. Кроме того, каждый день Церковь
также вспоминает жизнь Иисуса Христа в Своих службах, особенно в
Божественной Литургии. Если соединить эти два круга с ежедневным рядовым
чтением Священного Писания, то видно как жизнь православного христианина
пропитана воспоминаниями о своем Спасителе. Не только пропитана
воспоминаниями о своем Спасителе, но вся жизнь православного христианина
идет стопа в стопу с Ним, освящена Им, соединена с Ним.
Кроме вышеупомянутых кругов, наша жизнь
освящена ежедневным молитвенным правилом, циклом воскресного евангельского
чтения, циклом гласового пения, еженедельное отмечание главных событий
нашего искупления и главных наших водителей на пути к Царству Небесному,
круг еженедельных и ежегодных постов, и многими другими.
Ныне кончается время Постной Триоди,
время усугубленной молитвы, духовной переоценки приоритетов, покаяния, и
исправления и мы вступаем на поприще Цветной Триоди, время торжества,
ликования и радости. Но нам надо задуматься - какую пользу мы получили за
время Великого Поста, какие сдвиги мы сделали за это время в нашей духовной
жизни, чего мы с Божьей помощью достигли за эти дни и как нам сохранить и не
растратить эти приобретенные сокровища. Все-же Церковь дает нам эту
спасительную помощь в виде благодатных колец духовной жизни не для того,
чтобы мы вертелись на месте до головокружения. Нет, нам необходимо с каждым
оборотом немножко но твердо подняться выше.
Если мы над землей будем кругообразно
водить пальцем, то начертаем кольцо. Но, если с каждым кругом мы руку
немножко поднимем, то начертаем спираль. Вот это и есть правильный ход
нашей жизни, подобно дорожке поднимающейся спиралью на высокую гору. Каждый
год, приближаясь к светлым дням Христова Воскресения, Святой Пасхе, мы
надеемся быть все выше и выше на горе возводящей нас к небесам.
Дорогие мои, желаю вам прочного восхода и
усовершенствования по пути к Божественному. Чтобы все ваши духовные подвиги
прошедшего Великого Поста укрепляли вас и способствовали все к большим и
большим небесным благам. И, чтобы с каждым годом с вашим духовным ростом
увеличивалось райское блаженство ощущаемое в эти светлые, святые, радостные
дни Святой Пасхи.

Dear Brothers and
Sisters - Christ is Risen!
The currents of our life lead us through
various circles, the most obvious being the year that accompanies our life
on earth with endlessly repeating seasons. In God’s creation there is
nothing that happens by chance and this ring of nature serves the faithful
as a reminder of his primeval existence, which, by the grace of God was
immortal. The Church utilizes this powerful symbol of eternity, the circle,
not only once but manifoldly. Our church year is entirely sanctified with
the remembrance of our Savior’s, Jesus Christ’s life on Earth through the
Twelve Major Feast days other holidays. Each feast day is accompanied by
its own special readings from the Bible, the Holy Scripture. In addition,
the Church commemorates the life of Jesus Christ daily in its services and
especially in the Divine Liturgy. If we combine these two cycles with the
cycle of daily readings from the Holy Scripture, then we see how the life of
an Orthodox Christian is saturated with reflections on his Savior. Not only
saturated with reflections on his Savior, but the whole life of an Orthodox
Christian walks step in step with Him, sanctified by Him, united with Him.
In addition to the above-mentioned
cycles, our life is consecrated a daily prayer rule, a cycle of
resurrectional gospel readings, a cycle eight-tone singing, weekly
remembrances of the main events involving our redemption and our main guides
along the way to the Kingdom of Heaven, a cycle of weekly and annual fasts,
and many others.
Currently, time of the Lenten Triodion
is coming to a conclusion, a time of augmented prayer, a spiritual
reassessment of our priorities, penance, and correction and we are stepping
over into the sphere of the Pentecostarion, a time of celebration, triumph,
and joy. But we should reflect, what benefit did we receive during Great
Lent, what progress did we make in our spiritual life during this period,
what did we, though the grace of God, accomplish and how do we save and not
squander these treasures that we have obtained. After all the Church does
bestow this salvific help in the form of these grace-filled cycles so that
we spin in place until we become dizzy. No, with every rotation we must
rise slightly but firmly higher.
If we make a circular motion with our
finger over the ground, we draw a ring. But, if, every time we made a
circle, we raised our hand slightly higher, then draw a spiral. This is the
correct path of our life, like a path rising in a spiral about a high
mountain. Every year, when we approach the bright days of the Lord’s
Resurrection, Holy Easter, we hope to be higher and higher up this mountain
that is lifting us up to the heavens.
My dear ones, I wish for you a firm
ascent and perfection up this path to the Divine. That all of your
spiritual struggles during the past Great Lent strengthen you and promote
even greater and great heavenly blessings. And, that with each year, along
with your spiritual growth, the bliss of paradise that we foretaste during
these bright, holy, and joyous days of Holy Easter also multiply.
